Not hungry, thank you.

I think we all know the everyday struggle of being tired or/and hungry. It makes you a bit cranky so you eat your dinner and get some sleep to later feel better. But what if you never feel the need to eat or sleep? And what about pain, what if you never feel any (or only just a little) pain at all? What would your life look like and how would your identity change?
What is it? A girl from the UK named Olivia Farnsworth never feels any hungry or pain and is never tired, which is called ‘Bionic’. She only sleeps like two hours every night. I think I would want to take it over for a day or two, but I realize this is a very serious disease, which can’t be cured yet.
Why is it ‘cool'? First of all, I don’t think this disease (which probably has to do with a chromosome disorder) is something cool. I can imagine it’s very complicated for Olivia to live with this illness when you’re the only one in the environment with it. Lots of people look at food as a yummy and (particularly) cosy thing, while Olivia doesn’t. I think it could definitely change your identity when you never feel pain, be hungry or be tired. People will see you as different and maybe they’ll even bully you. I think it’s a good thing Olivia stands up and tells people about her disease, because even though being Bionic makes you different, she tries her best to live a happy life.
