Involve me fuel for innovation

Fuel for innovation is a stand at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven where people are asked to hand in an idea to make van Berlo better, in exchange for a cup of fresh coffee. I think this stand especially improves the Quality of Life of people in the field of Emotional Wellbeing from the Felce and Perry model. When people hand in an idea to help make van Berlo a better company, they will be satisfied because they did something that could make van Berlo (and maybe even the world) better. It will have a positive effect on people. Do good, and feel good. Right?

We're the Human Swarm The human swarm

The human swarm is an activity at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven which makes people realize how similar they are to animals. The human swarm wants to make people aware of the fact that when something frightening happens, people follow each other like animals do. I think this activity perhaps doesn’t improve the Quality of Life of people, but if I had to choose I would pick the ‘Development and Activity’ from the Felce and Perry model. The Human Swarm makes people realize somethings, which can be seen as education. People can learn something from this experience and in that way it could possibly improve their Quality of Life.

The intimate stuff Vulvarious

Vulvarious is an exhibition at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. The exhibition shows multiple vulva’s, covered up with art. Every vulva has its own story, because every woman’s vulva is different. Next to the artworks were notes where the women explained what their vulva looked like to them. I think this exhibition could improve the Quality of Life on the Social Wellbeing field of the Felce and Perry model. I think this exhibition can help women (the ones who are photographed, but also female visitors) accept that every vulva is different and has a different story (and past). This could help women accept themselves and be a happy person.

Minion, minion on the wall.. Minions flagshipstore

The minions flagshipstore is a pop-up store (what a surprise) in Amsterdam. When you step in to the store, there are minions everywhere, literally everywhere (I’m not kidding!). I think this store could improve the Quality of Life of people on the ‘Development and Activity’ field. The store could be some kind of leisure to people. When someone really enjoy minions, this store could definitely improve their Quality of Life. It could also fit in to the ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ field of the model, because it can make people (especially the ones who love minions) feel satisfied and fulfilled.

Breadelicious Broodbar Amsterdam

The Broodbar is a bar in Amsterdam where people can customize their own sandwich. I think the Broodbar could improve the Quality of Life of people on both the ‘Material Wellbeing’ as the ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ field. At the Broodbar, people can have a nice meal (which refers to the Material Wellbeing) which can make them feel satisfied, because they can make their own personal sandwich and can choose only what they like (which refers to the Emotional Wellbeing).

TONNING TON TON club

The TON TON club is a club in Amsterdam where people can go back to the olden days (not literally of course) by playing games on gambling machines and other fun old games. There is also a room full of balls. I think this club could improve the Quality of Life of people on both the ‘Social Wellbeing’ as the ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ field. It gives people the chance to do some activities with friends (which refers to social wellbeing). The whole story behind the TON TON club is to give people a fun time by playing old games. This would let people feel satisfied and feel happy (which refers to Emotional Wellbeing). It could also be placed in ‘Development and Activity’, because the TON TON club can be seen as a form of leisure/hobbies.
