For a couple of months, I was thinking about getting driving lessons to get my driving licence. But I began to doubt if I should put all my money in those driving lessons because in the future there will be electric cars and no one needs a driving licence anymore.
What is it? Now, NASA announced that they are developing a futuristic, all-electric airplane. It's called the X-57. The airplane will not look like regular airplanes. It will have two small wings with 12 motors in it, and one large motor on each wing tip.
Why is it cool? I think this new electric airplane could really be something good. First, it would be like really cool to fly in a electric airplane because it's an electric airplane. Just the feeling of flying in that kind of plane, makes me excited. But something more important: this plane would be much better for the environment. Therefore I also think it can be related to the trend 'Sustainable cities' because airplanes like these make the world a bit better, by not using kerosene. So I really do think that if in the future all cars and airplanes will work on electricity instead of gasoline and kerosene, the environment will be much better and we'll probably live longer and healthier.
