UVO

I enjoy going to the beach and catching some sun, but I don’t like having to rub myself with suncream every 15 to 20 minutes. Are you feeling the same? Well, than this may be your day because something really cool has been developed.

What is it? The Greek dermatologist Bobby Awadella has invented UVO, a ‘solar drink’. It would help you to not being burned like a schrimp in the sun, easy right? You just have to drink UVO and your ready to get into the sun. Some researchers do say that rubbing yourself in with sunscreen can help the best, and even though UVO could help not burning, they recommend to take multiple precautions to not get burned like a parasol, some sun screen and of course: UVO! You can buy UVO for €4,99 and there are two flavours available: peach or orange. There are vitamins in the drink like vitamine A, C, D and E. And there are also a couple other ingredients like folic acid which would protect your skin from getting burned.

Why is it cool? I think this new solar drink could really be a solution to sticky sun screen and sand everywhere on your body because of the stickiness of the sun screen. I also think this drink could be an example of the trend 'The Open World'. Maybe not directly, but I'm surprised lately how everything is damaging and would cause cancer and other horrible diseases. I think because of the internet and all those 'doctor' sites, people are getting scared of what they might do or not do. What they certainly don't need to eat because it would increase the chance of getting cancer. I think the UVO drink can be something good and handy, but sometimes I get tired of how everything must be different than it is now. People are getting scared of the sun because if you are in the sun for 10 minutes, you'll definitely get cancer. No, that's not true! Just make sure you get enough sun screen on your skin, and just relax. Sometimes the open world really makes me sigh!
